Hello everyone. My name is Payton Whitfield. I’m a new author at Topaz Publishing. I have been asked why I chose to write paranormal. First of all, my favorite authors are Edgar Allan Poe and Stephen King. Both of whom have a flare for the macabre. Growing up, nothing got my blood pumping like a tale that sent chills down my spine. As I matured, I also enjoyed reading a good love story, so I decided to merge the two genres. Writing thrillers allows me to escape from the daily grind and sends my senses on adventures of my own ghoulish creation. Recently, I pursued my dream and signed on with Topaz Publishing. There, I will produce a series of vampire tales entitled Transcending Dawn. Christina, a vampire, is the heroine in these stories, and Dylan, a Dracmon is the hero. Volume One will introduce this unlikely couple. Then it’s on to high adventure, romance, action, and intrigue. Each volume will bring the reader closer to learning the truth about this spirited pair. Each month, Topaz will release one of my wonderful tales, perfect for those who love vampires and creatures of the night. Thank you for reading my blog and check back periodically. That’s http:/// My website is Until next time. P.A. Whitfield.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It's fresh and imaginative, filled with action and romance. Chrissie, the main character, is every bit a woman, yet she isn't afraid to meet her challenges head on. Dylan, the hero, is physcically intimidating. Though, outwardly, he's a man's man, he shows Chrissie the tenderness that only a real man can afford to reveal. Also, I love those green eyes when he is angry. I thought that was an effective touch.

Hopefully, Payton will release the sequel soon. I'm anxious to see what she will do with the characters next.

I'm looking forward to reading your first book. I love the Twilight series, and the love and romance. It makes you forget you're dealing with vampires. I think your book looks very interesting and the main characters intrigue me.
